Corroba
Support & contact
Corroba is a free, honest citation generator and source checker — no accounts, no ads, no paywalls. If something isn't working, or you have a question or a source Corroba got wrong, we want to hear about it.
Common questions
Is Corroba really free?
Yes. Every citation style and every checking tool is free, with no sign-up wall and no subscription trap. Corroba grounds every citation in real bibliographic databases (Crossref, OpenAlex, PubMed, DOAJ, the DOI system) and never invents a source.
Corroba got a citation or a source wrong — what do I do?
Email support@corroba.com with the DOI, link, or citation and what you expected. Bibliographic data occasionally has gaps upstream, and reports like this are how we catch and fix them.
How does the browser extension work?
The Corroba “Check a Source” extension lets you check any DOI, link, or citation against real databases without leaving the page you're on. It has no accounts and no tracking — the only thing that ever leaves your browser is the source you choose to check. See the full extension privacy policy.
Do you store my bibliography or personal data?
Your working bibliography lives in your own browser, not on our servers. There is no account and no tracker tying a lookup to a person. Full details are in the privacy policy.
