Is Corroba really free?
Yes. Generating and exporting citations in every supported style is free, with no account required and no paywalled styles.
Do I need to create an account?
No. Your bibliography is saved automatically in your browser, so you can close the tab and come back later without signing in.
How accurate are the citations?
We build each citation from real bibliographic metadata using the same open formatting engine (citeproc + CSL) that powers Zotero. It's very accurate, but you should still double-check details against your style guide — especially for unusual source types.
Which citation styles are supported?
APA 7th, MLA 9th, Chicago (both author–date and notes–bibliography), Harvard, IEEE, AMA and Nature — with more on the way.
